It has come to our attention that a member of public has posted leaflets through the doors of a large number of residences of Barham and Claydon, regarding the Barham Picnic Site.

Whilst this is their, right the leaflet states that “All but two members of the Parish Council have a vested interest in the Barham Picnic Site Community Project”.

This information is completely untrue, the constitution of BPSCP directly states that none of the trustees nor members can make any financial profit from the site and that all monies made must be spent directly on the site and its maintenance.

Barham Parish Council will be seeking legal advice with regards to defamation of character.
