The River Gipping Trust have now received all the timber components needed to complete the new footbridge over
the river Gipping just above Baylham. The wooden platform has been received in a kit of parts ready for Trust
volunteers to install, with an anticipated bridge opening date this October. When the footbridge opens it will not be
wheelchair friendly, but improvement work along the path is ongoing and the Trust’s fund raising continues in order
to make it a wheelchair friendly accessible to all path in the future.
The previously scheduled Parish Council meeting on Monday 6th September is POSTPONED.

Defibrillator has now been placed outside the Head Office of Highway Assurance Ltd,
Volunteers who have signed up to be part of the Community Speed Watch Initiative in Barham are now successfully undergoing training.
