VACANCY FOR A BARHAM PARISH COUNCILLOR

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED BECOMING A PARISH COUNCILLOR?

Barham Parish Council has a vacancy for one new member.

Would you like to help make a difference to your village? Do you care about where you live, its facilities, activities, open spaces?  Whatever needs tackling or improving locally, becoming a Parish Councillor gives people the opportunity to change things.
YOU can help to make a difference to the quality of life for people in Barham.

If you are, age 18 or over, you are an elector of the parish, during the whole of the last 12 months have occupied as owner or tenant, land or other premises in the parish.

The Parish Council meetings are usually held every other month on a Monday evening at 7pm in Barham Church Hall.

The best way to find out what it’s like to be a Parish Councillor is to talk to someone who’s doing it now, come along to a Parish Council meeting or speak to our Parish Clerk (see contact details below)

Ask Your MP - Dr Dan Poulter

Claydon & Whitton Parish Council is hosting an 'Ask Your MP' event, with the MP for
Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, Dr Dan Poulter.
Local residents are welcome to attend this online event via Zoom -
please see details in the link. If you have an in depth question for Dr Poulter, please
feel free to let Claydon & Whitton Parish Council know ahead of time so that he can
ensure that he has researched the issue and can provide you with a useful answer
otherwise, please just turn up and ask your questions.

Extra Ordinary Parish Council Meeting

The Chairman has called for an Extra Ordinary Parish Council Meeting,
the meeting will take place on TUESDAY 15TH FEBRUARY 2022, 7pm in Barham Church Hall.
All members of the public are most welcome to attend.
